This is Geoff Eze and I following Geoff's ordination as a Deacon at Chelmsford Cathedral yesterday. Good luck Geoffrey, or should I say 'wonderful' in your title post. I am sure you will be fantastic. Good to be with you at the retreat - it was a blast. Great fingers mate. Hi Jonathan. Unfortunately I went back to the bank on Monday and do not start in earnest until August (which is when my Stipend begins). In the meantime, we will be worshipping at HT and have a welcome lunch on 13th July, and I will be preaching in the evening.
Regarding Geoff, great guy and super pianist...
I did the same thing, not starting until the beginning of September because of needing to complete a project before leaving work. Hope that this transition period doesn't feel too strange and that the welcome lunch and your first preach go really well.
I'm really looking forward to working with Geoff - he should certainly keep me on my toes!
