Sophia Hub update

Ros Southern writes:

I had a holiday last week and it was great that things continued so well without me - thanks Stephanie and Aidan!

At the Tuesday Enterprise lunchtime club tomorrow we have Seven Kings start-up Angelique Parvez speaking. D-Style, a dance fitness and Bollywood startup started trading 2 years ago and has created a new dance product with impressive contracts with Vison and major gyms. Angelque is also a lecturer at UEL on business strategy. Find out more about what she will talk about and her big Bollywood contract here.

The Sophia enterpreneur course is running twice before Christmas and the next course starts this coming Friday. Please consider people that you think would benefit from an uplifting community course with a start-your-own-business and active citizen twist. It's free. Please help us fill all 12 seats! More info here.

Interest is mounting for our anniversary event on Tuesday 30th September at 5.45-8.30 next week! We expect a wide range of start ups, local business and local community members to be there for an inspirational meeting with plenty of networking opportunities. More info here;

Please get in touch if you want to present your start-up in some way at the Pop Up Business Hub shop in the Ilford Exchange in October. This is a very exciting pilot and more info here. 5 of our start-ups have offered to run sessions so far - we have space for plenty more!

Thanks so much to Keith Young of Ilford Recycles for a useful enterprise session last week.

If the links don't work, all the information is on my blog at this address: http://sophiahubs7k.wordpress.com/.
