I've spent the past week at St Gabriel's Conference Centre, Ditchingham working on the Clergy Leadership Programme with a great group of incumbents and chaplains for the Chelmsford Diocese. The best part of the week was the high degree of friendship and support demonstrated from people of different traditions and theologies. Seeing this demonstrated once again is a vital reminder of the way in which friendships and real interaction can often override differences of theology and tradition and maintain the diversity that characterises Anglicanism at its best.
