Everyone has a place of beauty in their local community that they enjoy- whether it be a favourite tree, park, river, road, you name it!
The Redbridge Green Fair is all about celebrating the local community and the environment. We are looking for people to take photos of something important to them in Redbridge, which will then be displayed at the Redbridge Green Fair.
The Redbridge Green Fair is all about celebrating the local community and the environment. We are looking for people to take photos of something important to them in Redbridge, which will then be displayed at the Redbridge Green Fair.
Please submit photos, taken in Redbridge around the following criteria: Beauty; Urban Space; Community.
They hope to build up images of places in Redbridge that matter to people in the community and to help celebrate its diversity and the environment. This will be a great way to see Redbridge through the eyes of the local community!
If you are interested in taking part:
- EMAIL your photo to capturingredbridge09@yahoo.co.uk. The image will then be imported onto the photo sharing website, http://www.flikr.com/ where others can have a look online and will also be displayed on the day.
- PRINT and bring your photo to the ‘Capturing Redbridge’ display at the Redbridge Green Fair on the 24th May 2009 . Your picture will then be displayed for all to enjoy.
Please bring your photo in either (6x4 ) or (5x7)format. Please write a short caption of the name/ place of the subject and your name. Unfortunately the photo will not be able to be returned – so make sure you have a copy!)
The Redbridge Green Fair is in Melbourne Field, Valentines Park, Ilford. This year the fair will be held on Sunday 24th May 2009 between 11.30- 7pm. For more details please visit their website www.rgf.org.uk/capturingredbridge.htm.
