Bridge To Terabithia - First Official Full Trailer

Wonderful family film based on the value and power of the imagination and dealing sensitively with responses to grief.

Hi Jon,
Great film but does need a 'health warning'. I didn't know the story and watched it with my two young children. They were very distressed by the pivotol moment and I think if I had known what was going to happen I could have prepared them better. That said the issues are very important and powerfully explored, particularly grief and bereavement. There wasn't a dry eye in the house.
The other issues which we picked up on in chatting to the children were bullying and friendship but there are many more for future viewings.
It's a film that benefits from a second viewing after the initial shock has worn off.

Hi Philip,

I know what you mean. I watched it with my sister's family and my mum. It was particularly poignant following my Dad's death before Christmas and brought out many issues regarding our responses. As with you, there were no dry eyes in the house but afterwards it felt like a cathartic moment and as those we had been on a journey together.
