Carbon Fast

'What difference can I really make?' may be a common defence for our energy-hungry Western lifestyles, but it's an understandable argument. As individuals, our carbon emissions are a drop in the ocean, but as Christians we are part of a worldwide church of 2.1 billion people. Imagine for a moment the result of all Christians taking climate change seriously. It starts with the local church and Tear Fund have got some ideas to get us started.

Lent is only a couple of weeks away, and this year they're encouraging us to try something new - fasting carbon. Over the 40-day period they are giving 40 ways to cut carbon emissions - to reduce our impact on the poorest communities who are feeling the effects of climate change now. It's simple and it's a great way to get friends thinking about the issue. Order a free guide, sign up for emails and more by clicking here.
