Windows on the world (67)

Greenbelt, 2009

One of the many interesting features of Greenbelt are the artworks created around the site over the course of the Festival. These are like the signs of the kingdom which, like those we should be creating as the Church, may be temporary but significant for those with eyes to see them.

Here is a Windows on the world photo of one from this year's festival plus an unfinished meditation on the significance of paying attention and having eyes to see:

Attention paid

is

notice

interest

recognition

prayer

Being at

attention

is

readiness

preparation

intention

prayer

Being at-

tension

is

paradox

betweenness

broken middles

prayer
